Medicine on VETiSearch

VETiSearch – a closed digital infrastructure for the veterinary sector

The platform operates within the framework of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 and applicable Danish law, including the Danish Medicines Act and the Executive Order on Advertising of Medicinal Products.

Access and verification
Access to the data environment is restricted in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/6. User verification is carried out prior to granting access.

Data sources
The platform uses data from the Danish Medicines Agency (LMST) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Data protection and information security
Processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The platform is hosted on ISO 27001-certified servers.

Ownership
VETiSearch is not owned by pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, wholesalers, or industry associations. VETiSearch is not part of the distribution or sales chain for veterinary medicinal products and has neither direct nor indirect financial interest in the increased or decreased sale of any individual product or preparation.

Responsibility for content
The marketing authorisation holder is responsible for ensuring that content provided to the platform complies with Regulation (EU) 2019/6 and Danish law.
