General Terms of Agreement
By using VETiSearch, you declare that you have accepted and are in agreement with these terms of agreement and that you comply with them. The terms of agreement apply as long as you use VETiSearch or have a relationship with us.
If at any time you cannot accept or do not comply with these terms of agreement, you are not entitled to use VETiSearch.
By using VETiSearch, you accept, without limitation or modification, these Terms of Use.
Disclaimer
1. Data validation
Information on VETiSearch may not be used by non-professionals but is exclusively for use by authorised veterinarians and veterinary medical professionals, in the veterinary medical field.
On VETiSearch, data from public websites and from public authorities, is reproduced without editing. Data from these pages are converted for use on VETiSearch and therefore VETiSearch can in no way be held responsible - directly or indirectly - for any damage or inconvenience that may be the consequence of the information found on VETiSearch, as well as the use or misuse of the data that can be accessed by searching on VETiSearch.
Quality assurance is continually conducted by veterinary professionals, technical and administrative contributors at VETiSearch, however, VETiSearch can neither declare nor guarantee the information that is passed on and converted from the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) or other public authorities' websites.
The amount of data worldwide, including public data, is increasing exponentially, which provides a continuous development in veterinary knowledge, which can lead to a lack of consensus among veterinary professionals, as well as the possibility of human error in public administration. Neither veterinary professionals, technical or administrative contributors to VETiSearch can therefore guarantee that all information on VETiSearch is correct and complete in all aspects.
It is the individual veterinary medical professional's own responsibility to independently obtain the necessary professional knowledge and medical competence in relation to the use of the information reproduced on VETiSearch and, if necessary, seek further information from other sources, works of veterinary medical standards and product reviews (SPC).
VETiSearch and Skyspot ApS disclaim all responsibility for any possible claims from users that may arise from use or misuse of the content on VETiSearch.

If a user discovers an error or lack of medical data on VETiSearch, it is the user's own responsibility, to immediately and without hesitation, contact the responsible party to inform about a possible problem. You are also welcome to CC: VETiSearch at contakt@VETiSearch.co.uk, so that we are informed of the possible problem.
1.2 External data
Links to or display of relevant veterinary data from external websites, as scientific text, film, image material or other material, can be displayed as a service to the user.
All data available on external websites, including but not limited to private websites, is restricted for educational and informational use, is non-exclusive and is also freely available to the public elsewhere on the Internet. Copyright for external data will always be exclusive and copyright appears in connection with the individual material.
VETiSearch has no control over the content in connection to external content and cannot assume responsibility for the material itself or for any loss, damage or inconvenience that may arise from your use of this information, material or data.
VETiSearch and Skyspot ApS disclaim all responsibility for any possible claims from VETiSearch users that may arise from the use or misuse of the content of data from other websites
Creating a Profile on VETiSearch
2.0 Creating a free Profile on VETiSearch
You can create a free Profile on VETiSearch by registering on VETiSearch and agreeing to VETiSearch's terms of agreement. In order to create a free Profile on VETiSearch, you must be an authorised British veterinarian. Authorized veterinary nurses and veterinary students can also create an account on VETiSearch.
You can choose to delete your Profile on VETiSearch at any time.
To avoid misuse of veterinary relevant data on VETiSearch, you must enter your authorization number when creating a user as a veterinarian.
You can create a free Practice Clinic on VETiSearch if you, as an authorized veterinarian, are associated with a practice that wishes to have a Practice Profile on VETiSearch.
Data security
3.0 User's responsibility
Username (email) and password on VETiSearch are confidential information and you must not disclose them to any third party.
The veterinarian's (the veterinary professional’s) general personal data will never be shared with third parties.
3.1 Personal data policy
VETiSearch does not ask for any sensitive personal information when creating a Personal Profile. VETiSearch stores general personal data, i.e. general personal data that can identify a person but that does not fall under the category of "sensitive data".
General information is: Name, education information and current job position. VETiSearch also asks for the veterinarian's authorisation number, to avoid the possibility of misuse of veterinary data. The veterinarian's authorisation number refers to information about the person's authorised training, and therefore falls under the category of general personal data.
It is always the practice administrator's own responsibility to keep their practice profile up to date, so that the practice profile only contains data on the veterinarians and the veterinary professional staff employed at the practice.
3.2 When is or will personal data be deleted?
Personal data for the individual veterinarian will be deleted as soon as the veterinarian chooses to delete their Personal Profile on VETiSearch.
A user can have their Personal Profile on VETiSearch deleted at any time.
A practice can have its practice profile on VETiSearch deleted at any time.
Deletion results in all data being immediately and permanently deleted from VETiSearch.

3.3 Data on general activity on VETiSearch
VETiSearch reserves the right to store information about users' general activity on VETiSearch.
VETiSearch reserves the right to save and share information about the site's general activity with selected third parties, when this information helps to improve, optimize and develop VETiSearch for the benefit of VETiSearch's own users, is required to comply with applicable Danish legal requirements, helps to maintain and produce statistics for a scientific or veterinary professional purpose, or to fulfill a legitimate business purpose.
3.4 Suspicion of data misuse
If you become aware of or suspect that your username (email), password, practice number or authorization number is being used by an unauthorized third party, you must notify us immediately and change your password.
If we have reason to believe that your username (email) and/or your password has been disclosed or otherwise misused, we have the right to immediately deactivate your Personal Profile and/or make VETiSearch unavailable to you in another way, in order to prevent possible unauthorised or illegal behaviour according to EU law.
VETiSearch has the right to make a compensation claim against you if VETiSearch suffers a loss as a result of your actions.
Prescription issuance
4.0 Prescription issuance on VETiSearch
Currently, prescriptions cannot be issued on vetisearch.co.uk. If this service becomes available at a later time, it is the user's responsibility to stay informed about it section 4.0.
General
5.0 Copyright
The content and layout of VETiSearch are protected by the Copyright Act and other intellectual property laws.
5.1 Abuse of VETiSearch
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a user's access to VETiSearch at any time.
5.2 Force Majeure
VETiSearch is not responsible for failures, outages, or availability issues, or for any mistakes on VETiSearch or other failures to comply with these terms and conditions caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
